Perfectly Perfect Crispies
Do you need a perfectly perfect treat for after school or for the next class party? Here is a great recipe that is perfect for any occasion, be it for a school party or a favorite afternoon snack.

Tasty Treat for Kids of All Ages
In honor of the release of my new book, Imperfectly Me, I decided to come up with a treat that was bright and colorful that kids would love to eat again and again. This recipe is very fast and easy, which makes it a great ‘learning how to cook’, recipe for kids of all ages, or an easy go to option for those last minute class parties.
Imperfectly Me, is a great book that talks about a young princess who realizes that she isn’t quite like the rest, and how she navigates when others judge her for being different. You can read more about it by clicking here.
The nice thing about this recipe is that you can use your favorite flavor and color of jello which allows you to customize it to your family’s perefernces. For this batch, I found some Pomegranate Blueberry jello at my local Walmart, I think the flavor went great with the candy. I love adding the nerds in the actual crispy part, as well as putting it on top to give it a fun, colorful appearance which is sure to tempt anyone to eat at least one piece.
It’s also nice, because although it is still sweet, the jello and nerds give it a slight tangy tart flavor, which is a nice change from desserts which are usually only sweet.
When I make this, it doesn’t even last my family an entire day. My kids and my husband like to eat big pieces of it, leaving none behind (which my waistline appreciates).
